1. Agreement and scope
By downloading, accessing, or using Adversary, a TestFlight or Google Play beta build, the Playtest Lab, or this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use those services.
2. Personal license and acceptable use
Adversary is licensed for personal, non-commercial use. Do not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, sell, cheat, interfere with normal operation, bypass security, submit automated or deceptive entries, or use the app or website unlawfully.
3. Game availability and changes
Adversary is in development. Rules, scoring, difficulty, content, device support, release timing, and online availability may change. We may add, change, suspend, or remove features when reasonably necessary.
4. Free version and purchases
Adversary will offer a free version. The app may also offer optional in-app purchases through the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed with RevenueCat. Prices and purchase terms will be shown before confirmation. The applicable store handles billing and its refund process; NBP Apps does not receive complete payment-card details.
5. Beta software
Beta builds may be incomplete, unstable, contain errors, lose progress, change without notice, or stop working. Access may be limited, revoked, or ended. A beta distributed through TestFlight, Google Play, or another testing service is also subject to that platform’s terms and any testing instructions shown with the build.
6. No account required
Adversary and this website do not currently require an account. Submitting an email address only adds it to the launch notification list and is governed by the Privacy Policy.
7. Store terms
Any Adversary version distributed through Apple is also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement and applicable App Store terms. A version distributed through Google Play is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.
8. Intellectual property
The Adversary name, app, website, game content, features, design, artwork, and related materials are owned by NBP Apps or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
9. Third-party services and links
Adversary may use or link to Apple, Google Play, RevenueCat, social platforms, and other third-party services. Their own terms and privacy policies apply, and NBP Apps is not responsible for their independent content, availability, or practices.
10. Gameplay and scores
Scores, streaks, rankings, and other results are provided for entertainment. We do not guarantee that results will be preserved, comparable across devices or builds, or free from interruptions caused by software changes, connectivity, or device conditions.
11. Website and Playtest Lab
Website and Playtest Lab content is informational and experimental. A launch-list signup, browser playtest, or social link is not a purchase, reservation, promise of access, or guarantee that a feature will appear in the released app.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
To the extent permitted by law, the app, beta builds, Playtest Lab, and website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, reliability, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NBP Apps and its creators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of, or inability to use, Adversary, its beta builds, the Playtest Lab, or the website.
14. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to a beta, playtest, or service if these terms are violated, continued operation creates risk, or suspension is required by law or a platform provider.
15. Severability
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms will continue in effect.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use as Adversary develops. Updates will be posted here with a revised last-updated date. Continued use after an update indicates acceptance to the extent allowed by law.
